Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing

Self-propelled travel in the wilderness can at times be magical, and at other times frustrating, a basic truth of adventure.  The conditions are unpredictable and the trails aren’t groomed, but after a long day of cross country skiing, as you sip hot cocoa under a star splashed sky, we hope you feel the deep relaxation that accomplishment, physical exertion, and nature provide.  Skate skiing in March can be a blast and allows for quick travel, a time that skate skiers of the north woods look forward to all year.  December through February snow is typically more conducive to classic striding or snowshoeing.  Tell us your winter camping destination, and our sled dogs will get your gear there, we could even have camp set up and waiting.
